Enrichment Week (only for BINUS ASO) Japan Cooking Class: Making Taiyaki
About this Event
The seminar “Hands On Japanese Cooking with Momoko Sensei: Making Taiyaki” is an interactive culinary session that introduces participants to traditional Japanese food preparation. The session will be guided by Momoko Sensei, who will demonstrate and assist participants in making Taiyaki, a well-known Japanese snack shaped like a fish and typically filled with sweet ingredients such as red bean paste or chocolate.
During the seminar, participants will learn the basic techniques used in preparing taiyaki, including batter preparation, filling, and cooking methods. The activity is designed to provide a hands )on experience, allowing participants to follow each step directly.
In addition to cooking, the seminar also introduces elements of Japanese culinary culture, giving participants a broader understanding of the context behind the dish. This event is suitable for students who are interested in cooking, cultural activities, or simply trying a new experience in a structured and engaging environment.
