In this course, students explore how human anatomy, physiology, and sensory systems inform thoughtful product design.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1585 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/base.binus.ac.id\/product-design-engineering\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/02\/Picture1-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"157\" height=\"222\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The project draws inspiration from Selena Gomez\u2019s experience with lupus, a chronic autoimmune condition that attacks healthy tissues, including the kidneys, skin, and joints. Individuals living with lupus often experience joint pain, stiffness, and swelling, which can make simple daily movements difficult. Recognizing these challenges, the design process focused on creating a solution that supports ease of use and accessibility for users with limited hand mobility.<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by the form of a seashell, THERA was developed as a compact, portable refresher that is easy to carry and operate with one hand.
