It aims to push the boundaries of what is technically possible and inspire young people to become leading scientists and engineers of future energy solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Kompetisi ini dibagi menjadi beberapa region, diantaranya adalah Shell Eco-marathon Asia-Pacivic and Middle East atau yang disingkat SEM APME. SEM APME 2024 - Mandalika<\/p>\n<p>Pada kompetisi SEM APME 2024, BINUS ASO School Engineering menurunkan 2 tim terbaiknya untuk berkompetisi di Mandalika. Tim pertama adalah D\u2019BASE Team Urban yang mengikuti kompetisi kategori Mobil Urban menggunakan mesin berjenis ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) dan Tim kedua adalah D\u2019BASE Team Proto yang mengikuti kompetisi kategori mobil Prototype menggunakan mesin Electric.<\/p>\n<p>Sebelum bisa memacu kendaraan di track balap, terdapat fase yang paling penting dari kompetisi ini yaitu setiap tim harus bisa lulus TI atau Techinical Inspection. Pada fase ini, tim harus bisa menunjukkan kendaraannya sesuai dengan kriteria panitia SEM, termasuk berat pengemudi.<\/p>\n<p>Pada fase TI, D\u2019BASE Team Urban dan Proto sempat mengalami kendala pada beberapa kategori tes TI. Dengan tetap <strong><em><u>semangat<\/u><\/em><\/strong>, tim yang diketuai oleh Richard ini mampu memodifikasi dan menyesuaikan kendaraannya sehingga bisa lulus tahap TI dengan memanfaatkan kebijakan penambahan waktu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1439 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/base.binus.ac.id\/automotive-robotics-engineering\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/08\/Picture2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"575\" height=\"330\" srcset=\"https:\/\/base.binus.ac.id\/automotive-robotics-engineering\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/08\/Picture2.jpg 575w, https:\/\/base.binus.ac.id\/automotive-robotics-engineering\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/08\/Picture2-480x275.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 575px) 100vw, 575px\" \/>Gambar 2. D'BASE Team Lulus TI (Technical Inspection)<\/p>\n<p>Fase terakhir yang tidak kalah menegangkan adalah menguji kendaraan di track balap sirkuit Mandalika. Pada fase ini tim tetap perlu menyiapkan kendaraannya karena sebelum memasuki arena balap, mobil perlu dicek ulang sistem pengereman. Akhirnya kedua tim berkesempatan menguji mobil diarea balap dengan <strong><em><u>semangat<\/u><\/em><\/strong> tinggi mereka memperbaiki kendaraannya untuk bisa mengaspal diarea balap mandalika.<\/p>\n<p>Daaannn... hasilnya D\u2019BASE Team berhasil meraih posisi 7 besar, hasil sangat membanggakan karena mobil mereka sempat mengalami kendala besar disistem pengereman dan motor listrik juga sempat bermasalah.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1440 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/base.binus.ac.id\/automotive-robotics-engineering\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/08\/Picture3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"179\" height=\"384\" \/>Gambar 3. D'BASE Team Proto masuk 7 Besar<\/p>\n<p>Sedangkan D\u2019BASE Team urban harus bersabar karena mengalami masalah engine tiba-tiba mati saat akan menyelesaikan lap. Tim sempat memperbaiki kendaraan dan mencoba lagi mengaspal di track, namun engine tetap mengalami kendala dan mati saat belum selesai finish.<\/p>\n<p>Secara umum kedua tim D\u2019BASE Team ini sangat ber<strong><em><u>semangat<\/u><\/em><\/strong> dan saling membantu diantara kedua tim. Dan yang tidak kami duga adalah....
